My name is Curt Arnold. I specialize in helping my clients financially prepare for retirement, which often includes the proper use of annuities. I help clients across the country find ways to generate more retirement income and securely grow and protect their money during these turbulent times.
Despite the current market volatility and elevated interest-rate environment, there are still strategies you can put in place right now to ensure that you don’t run out of income—and to keep your money protected from future market downturns.
While most financial advisors are happy to provide investment tips and portfolio growth opportunities, few financial professionals know how to convert your savings into long-term, sustainable income—while protecting your money—so you can spend with confidence in retirement.
I’m a Certified Financial Fiduciary and the host of Retirement Rescue Weekly, and I bring over a decade of experience in the financial industry. Before entering the world of retirement planning, I spent the early part of my career as a television sports anchor and reporter, where I developed a passion for clear communication and storytelling. That background continues to shape my approach to financial advice today. I’ve worked with firms across Wisconsin and Florida, specializing in retirement income planning, tax strategy, Social Security, Medicare, and estate planning. My mission is simple: to help retirees avoid costly mistakes, reduce anxiety, and live with confidence in the next chapter of life.
I earned my degree in Electronic Media–Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 2000, driven by a lifelong love for sports and storytelling. While I didn’t expect to transition into finance, what led me here was the realization that many retirees face confusion and fear around critical financial decisions. Coming from a family that struggled to find the right guidance—especially after my mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and my dad was left to navigate retirement on his own—I saw firsthand how damaging poor advice (or no advice at all) can be. That personal experience, combined with my journalist’s curiosity, pushed me to become the kind of advisor I wish my parents had: someone who listens, explains, and genuinely cares.
Outside of the office, I live with my wife and kids. We are raising our children with a foundation of faith, kindness, and purpose—even as we face unique challenges, like navigating rare health conditions with our youngest daughter. We stay active in our church, volunteer in the community, and even fostered over 30 rescue dogs during the pandemic. Whether I’m coaching my kids’ sports teams, traveling with the family, or educating clients through workshops and podcasts, I try to lead with compassion and clarity. My motto is: “Be kind to everyone—you never know the battles they’re fighting.” That philosophy shapes both my personal life and how I serve others. I’m here to give retirees not just financial strategies, but the respect, education, and peace of mind they deserve.
I reside in Florida, and although my office is physically located in Land O’ Lakes, I work with clients throughout the United States. Thanks to advanced technology, we can meet “face-to-face” virtually, and I can share my computer screen so we’re all on the same page. That way, you can see firsthand how various income strategies may work for your specific goals.
I do my best to take the mystery out of annuities by answering some of the most commonly asked questions in a simple, personalized way. All of my meetings are conducted by phone or virtually, which means you don’t need to leave your home or visit my office.
Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for retirement planning guidance and annuity recommendations to help you reach your retirement goals.
Sincerely,
Curt Arnold
