My name is Ed Neveleff. I specialize in helping clients financially prepare for retirement, which often includes the strategic use of annuities. I work with individuals across the country to find ways to generate more retirement income and explore how to grow and protect their money securely during these turbulent times.
Despite current market volatility and an elevated interest-rate environment, there are still strategies you can implement today to help ensure you don’t run out of income and that your money remains protected from future downturns.
While most financial advisors are eager to offer investment tips and portfolio growth strategies, few know how to convert your savings into long-term, sustainable income—while also preserving your wealth—so you can spend with confidence in retirement.
I’ve spent over 25 years helping individuals navigate their financial futures with clarity and assurance. My career began as a litigation attorney after earning a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from American University. Inspired by my father, a career Air Force lawyer, I pursued law for more than a decade before realizing I wanted a more collaborative and personally fulfilling path. Financial advising provided the opportunity to build meaningful, win-win outcomes for clients and their families.
Early in my financial services career, I focused on life insurance and estate planning before expanding into comprehensive financial planning. After earning my CFP® designation and obtaining my securities license, I served as the financial advisor for a regional credit union for eight years. I eventually founded Enroute Wealth Management to offer personalized, independent advice.
Today, I primarily serve retirees and those approaching retirement within the next decade. I work closely with each client to ensure their financial resources are aligned with their life goals—whether that includes generating guaranteed income, traveling, funding education for grandchildren, or protecting against long-term care costs. My insights on retirement planning and insurance have been featured in respected outlets such as The Washington Post, National Underwriter, and A.M. Best.
Outside the office, I enjoy life with my wife Debbie. We’ve been married for more than three decades, and raising our two children, Julie and James, has been the most rewarding chapter of my life. I’m proud that both chose careers in financial services—Julie in private equity and James as an accountant. In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, and exploring new destinations. My guiding principle is simple: do well by doing good. I strive every day to care for those I love and to help others with kindness, integrity, and purpose.
I reside in Maryland, and while my office is based in North Potomac, I work with clients throughout the United States. Our advanced technology allows for virtual “face-to-face” meetings, screen sharing, and real-time collaboration—so you can see exactly how various income strategies may fit your specific needs and goals.
I aim to take the mystery out of annuities by addressing common questions in a clear and personalized way. All of my meetings are conducted by phone or online, meaning you don’t have to leave your home or visit an office.
Feel free to reach out if you’re seeking guidance on retirement planning and annuity solutions that support your long-term goals.
Sincerely,
Ed Neveleff
