I’ve been in the financial services industry since 1987, and a board Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 1996, with a specialized focus on helping individuals facing circumstances of sudden wealth – such as divorce, inheritance, business liquidation, or a lump sum retirement distribution. My mission is to guide clients through these major transitions with strategies designed to protect and grow their wealth. By combining highly disciplined investment strategies with carefully selected annuities, clients can enjoy a more sustainable and verifiable path to long-term retirement income.
After working with many traditional firms – ranging from a municipal securities specialist in the OTC markets, to an advisor in Prudential Preferred’s Boston office, and finally managing the investment division of a regional bank, I elected to launch my own independent advisory practice, enabling me to provide truly unbiased solutions.
My journey into the annuity space began after witnessing how traditional investment strategies failed during many of the major market downturns, like 2002 and 2008. It was disheartening to see individual investors, many of whom had been working with established Wall Street firms, lose up to 50% of their portfolios at the exact time they needed those funds the most. That experience drove me to explore better options for income security in retirement.
With over 30 years of experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of conservative, income-generating investment solutions and have been fortunate to share my insights through national media outlets, including CNN, Fox Business, NBC, ABC, CBS News, FORBES, and several regional publications.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy staying active and giving back. I’ve run several marathons, including the Boston Marathon in both 2013 and 2014, helping to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Research and several foundations focused on the cure for Parkinson’s.
Although I reside in Massachusetts, I am able to work with clients throughout the United States. Through our advanced technology systems, not only can we meet “face-to-face” online, but we can also share computer screens so that we are all on the “same page.” That way, you can see firsthand how various income strategies may work for you and your specific goals.
