My name is Phil Gaudiano. I specialize in helping my clients financially prepare for retirement, which often includes the proper use of annuities. I help clients across the country find ways to generate more retirement income and securely grow and protect their money during these turbulent times.

I began my career in financial services specializing in tax credit transactions. I joined a Fortune 500 company and worked in the tax department for several years before leaving to form my own practice. I am currently on the board of Potomac Assurance Associates LLC, my insurance agency specializing in using financial and insurance products to help people plan for and achieve their retirement goals. Before entering the financial services industry, I spent several years sailing on commercial vessels in the merchant marine.
I entered the annuity industry because I wanted to offer people a safe, reliable way to ensure they don’t run out of money in retirement. During the COVID crash, I witnessed firsthand how some of my retired clients struggled after losing a significant portion of their nest egg in a short time and the resulting decisions they had to make about modifying their standard of living. My strength is taking complex problems and explaining them in a way my clients can understand, enabling them to make the best decisions for their circumstances.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing (though I don’t do it enough), reading, and gardening. I also love spending time with my family and going on family trips. I’m married to Gigi, my high school sweetheart. We have three kids: Dom, Tony, and Stella. Both boys are baseball players and we spend a lot of time traveling to watch their games. Stella is an artist and a ballerina who also enjoys field hockey. We have a goal of visiting all 30 MLB stadiums as a family.
I reside in Virginia, and even though my office is physically located in Great Falls, I work with clients throughout the United States. Through our advanced technology systems, we can meet “face-to-face” virtually online, and share computer screens so that we are all on the “same page.” That way, you can see firsthand how various income strategies may work for you and your specific goals.
I do my best to take the mystery out of annuities by answering some of the most commonly asked questions in a simple, personalized way. All of my meetings are conducted over the phone and virtually, meaning you do not need to leave your home or visit my office.
