I grew up in Connecticut and have lived in Massachusetts since graduating from college where I received a BS in BA from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI in 1994. After graduation, I moved to Boston and began my career working as a Mortgage Loan Officer for Wells Fargo and KeyBank. I then took a position as Branch Manager of the Bank of America mortgage office in Burlington, MA. After that, I spent the next three years working on the wholesale side of the mortgage business for Citibank until the end of 2008 when the financial crisis hit. At that time I switched my focus to financial planning while incorporating the use of annuities as the products became much more compelling and evolved.
I hold a Series 65, Retirement Income Certified Professional and Certified Financial Fiduciary credentials and a life and health license. I specialize in comprehensive financial planning and wealth management, specifically retirement investment and income planning, while still preserving legacy assets for beneficiaries. Throughout my over 25 years of experience in the financial services area, I’ve learned there are essentially two distinct objectives for one’s investment: growth and income.
I’m backed by a team of portfolio design professionals comprised of CFA’s® and CFP’s®, who create custom retirement investment and income plans by using a diverse combination of securities and annuities. Studies have shown that this design results in a higher return, and lower risk portfolio with much higher lifetime income withdrawal rates. For the past fourteen years, I have operated as an independent fiduciary financial advisor and am dedicated to providing the best service to each of my clients.
When I’m not working, my favorite activity is spending time with my 8-year-old son, Cal. Also, I’m an avid sports fan, a youth coach and I enjoy playing golf when time allows.
While I am currently living in Massachusetts, through our advanced technology systems, it is possible for me to meet “face-to-face” online with my clients, as well as, share computer screens so that we are all on the same page.
