More About Me

My name is Jeff Blocker. I specialize in helping my clients financially prepare for retirement, which often includes the proper use of annuities. I help clients all over the country find ways to generate more retirement income and see how to grow and protect their money during these turbulent times securely.

Despite the current volatility in the market and the elevated interest-rate environment, there are still strategies that you can put in place right now to ensure that you do not run out of income and keep your money securely protected from future market downturns.

While most financial advisors are more than happy to provide you with investment tips and growth opportunities for your portfolio, a few financial professionals know how to convert your savings into a long-term sustainable income (while protecting your money) so that you can spend with confidence when you retire.

I got into this industry after seeing the power of annuities firsthand. In 2007, I advised a physician worried about his finances to purchase an annuity that could protect a large portion of his nest egg while providing guaranteed income for him and his spouse. Fast forward to today, that annuity has grown in value and provides enough income to cover his spouse’s bills each month without worry. That physician and his spouse are actually my parents, and although my father passed in 2018, that annuity continues to ensure my mother will always have financial peace of mind. That is the type of security and confidence I work to provide for all of my clients.

I hold a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Massachusetts, and I have over 20 years of experience in focusing on asset protection and growth. I have previously held roles at Northwestern Mutual and Aflac before starting an independent practice 17 years ago.

One of my favorite quotes that guide my professional life is: “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” Over the years, I’ve seen the devastating cost that bad financial advice can have, not only in fees but also in unnecessary losses that could have been avoided. But, at the same time, I know the power that proper financial actions can have to seemingly “do the impossible” as long as that advice takes clients’ needs and understands their greatest concerns with their money into an account. My goal is to help my clients “do the impossible” to grow their nest egg and draw income without concern for running out of money.

When I’m not working, I spend time with my wife of 20 years, my two children, and my 4-year-old Cavachon puppy called Mickey. I’ve been involved in Big Brother Big Sisters of America for over 25 years, a charity that focuses on creating relationships around mentoring.

I reside in Massachusetts, and even though my office is physically located in Boston, I am able to work with clients throughout the United States. Through our advanced technology systems, not only can we meet “face-to-face” virtually online, but we can also share computer screens so that we are all on the “same page.” That way, you can see first-hand how various income strategies may work for you and your specific goals.

I do my best to take the mystery out of annuities by answering some of the most commonly asked questions in a simple, personalized way. All of my meetings are conducted over the phone and virtually, which means you do not need to leave your home or have to visit me in my office.
